2017 CONGRESS Informaiton
The 2017 Naval Order Congress was held the beautiful city of Jacksonville Florida; a city bisected by the magnificent St John's River and bordering the Atlantic Ocean to the East.
Jacksonville is home to Naval Station Mayport, Naval Air Station Jacksonville (Original Home of the Blue Angels), Marine Corps Logistics Base Blount Island, and just to the north is Naval Submarine Base, King's Bay Georgia. I-95 passes through the heart of the city and it is the end point for Interstate 10 which began in Los Angeles.
Come on back and take advantage of what Florida has to offer:
- Take a Cruise out of Jacksonville on the Carnival cruise ship 'Elation'! Hop on the 'Elation' for a 4 night cruise of the blue Caribbean heading for the Bahamas -"CRUISE"-! Get with your special someone and/or some friends and make arrangements for Cruisin' on your own at the Carnival Website!
- Take a day trip to the Magic Kingdom (4hrs away in Orlando); the Oldest City: St Augustine (1 hr down beautiful A1A); Kingsley Plantation (20 min from the hotel); Jacksonville's Beaches (20 min from the hotel); World Golf Village and the PGA Hall of Fame (25 minutes south of Jax); Daytona International Speedway (90 min South of Jax); Theater (walking or water taxi distance from the Hotel); and so much more!
- How about a Deep Sea or River fishing experience? Cap'n Steve at FishHunter.net knows the best spots and can get you there on a half day charter out of Mayport to catch Wahoo, Amber Jack, Reds, Sea Bass, King Mackerel, and a whole lot more!!!. Call Cap'n Steve at (904)463-3998.
