Loree Draude was one of the US Navy's first female jet pilots in a combat squadron. In her book, She's Just Another Navy Pilot: An Aviator's Sea Journal, Loree describes the early opposition to women joining the previously male-only jet pilot community and the sometimes open hostility she encountered.
